TWILEY TM was created in 2016 by Teanna Wiley, who was born & raised in San Diego, Ca. Teanna started designing clothes because she hated shopping in the stores, only to look like everyone else. With Teanna being petite & tall, it was hard for her to find clothes that flattered her shape & height, but most importantly could also make her stand out in a crowd. Designing clothes for her started as a hobby and quickly became a fantastic business opportunity. Teanna would like to give much gratitude to the many women who believed in her creativity because TWILEY TM wouldn’t be here today without the love and support shown.
TWILEY TM announces a new collection called “Miami Denim” which is modeled during Miami swim week, inspired by the 90s & early 2000s video vixens & pop culture. This collection is a nostalgic sneak peek at what will be later dropping on Twileytm.com! Be sure to come out Sunday, July 17th, from 7-11 pm at Show Fields, which is located at 530 Lincoln Rd Miami Beach, FL33139 to see her work.
New York based swim and beachwear brand, Dos Swim, was founded in 2019 by Shay Johnson and Paula Hess, created with the intention to provide not only chic, but perfectly fitting swim for themselves and their friends. Finding the right fit was always so hard for their respective body shapes. Bottoms, specifically, were always a point of contention, they were either too low on the leg or too high, exposing too much or too little. They wanted to fix that and with their combined design and creative direction experience, Dos Swim was born.
Dos Swim introduces, El Paradiso, an ode to the Caribbean and its paradise and the all around Caribbean girl. Featuring swim separates, coverups, ready-to-wear and accessories in cool prints and vibrant hues. The swimwear and beachwear ranges in sizes XS-3XL.
The collection is sold on www.dosswim.com
On Sunday July 17th studio S W I S H & Create Your Mood Ent. will be collaborating for the second annual Sounds & Swim, Miami Swim Week show! This year featuring DOSSWIM & TWILEY TM at Showfields (MIA). With the underlying theme of systems.
What are systems?
When you define the terms, you see that systems is a set of things working together as parts of a mechanism or an interconnecting network. In a sense, that is exactly the concept that the show aspires to display & offer social commentary on; what are the systems around fashion and swimwear entail? Do the systems work with us or against us? Is this one industry synonymous with the world? why?
